How about the terrible team that beat us TJ's senior year and kept us out of the tournament this year had the leading scorer in the nation and today beat a #2 seed.

We've been lapped by the field, and then some.

Where’s FRS with the statement about the Baptist’s?!?!?!?

there’s zero reason other than an undying love of Mooney as to why we’re comfortable not making the tournament.

Sucks to not matter in March.
The people who care are posting here.

The suits that pretend to be administrators running the show are comfortably sitting in their dens enjoying watching good basketball games. The thought that they are responsible for us not being there never crosses their minds.

Collegian: “The board issued a message Wednesday acknowledging the Statement on Black Student Welfare, in which a coalition of Black students called for UR to remove the names of Robert Ryland and Douglas Southall Freeman from Ryland and Mitchell-Freeman halls, provide academic accommodations and allocate funding for off-campus mental health resources for Black students.

In the board’s message, the board affirmed its decision not to rename Ryland and Mitchell-Freeman halls.”

Was in Scouts and at UR with Bill Ryland and he was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I cannot
imagine how hurt his family is with the actions of the school. The sins of the past destroys the future good.

The school is keeping the name of Ryland Hall. And yes, Bill Ryland is (was? I hope not) a great guy.

People that do these things have their own problems. Consequently, they usually brag about it to their
acquaintances. Someone knows who did this.

There is never a good excuse to vandalize and desecrate signs, historical markers, statues and cemeteries. This crap has gone way too far. If these groups can’t use extortion to erase history, then they resort to violence. This should never be tolerated from any group, and I mean ANY group. Both the left and right should get together on this and stop it.

Not sure how blue paint is a sign of violence but I guess it is what it is.

For now think most people can agree that we’re disappointed that we’ve gone a decade without a NCAA appearance.
