Have not posted in over a year but I feel it must be said again. The main reason Danny Rocco left can be found on the bio of our new coach today on our school website, the administration would not bend on our admissions policy. We are committed to higher academic standards than our foes and this will not change. Like it or not Danny wanted more control over who he could recruit and was told time and time again no way. If you do not want to coach by those guidelines adios. I don't like it but that is how we have gravitated over the last 20 years and our student participation reflects that also.

Wecome back. Appreciate your input, but I do not agree.
We are not who we were and that is because we changed. We can change again.
This is not to suggest that we change our academic requirements across the board, but that we make more exceptions for athletes as long as they meet other criteria.
Change, in general, in inevitable. In our case, it is necessary, and I believe that it will happen.

hey, need you back on here 79 and you are correct. need to also say that we do make concessions for athletics and maybe even take a few who are below even that but at the end of the day, we are an institute of higher learning not a football or basketball factory. now, if we were earning millions and millions due to the teams we were placing on the court or field, then could see doing anything and everything but we are not that school.
