CAA FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF RICHMOND/W&M GAME; ADDITION OF RICHMOND/JMU GAME ON APRIL 17

RICHMOND, Va. (April 9, 2021) – CAA Football has announced that the football game between Richmond and William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. on Saturday, April 10 has been cancelled due to CoVID-19 related protocols within the William & Mary program.
The conference also announced that one of the previously postponed games between Richmond and James Madison has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. in Harrisonburg, Va. The 12th-ranked Spiders (3-0, 3-0 CAA) and top-ranked Dukes (4-0, 2-0 CAA) are currently tied atop the CAA’s South Division.

JMU Football to Host Richmond April 17 in Regular-Season Finale
The CAA announced that JMU will host Richmond on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. in a game televised on NBC Sports Washington Plus.

With the capacity of Bridgeforth Stadium now expanded to 30%, fans will have the opportunity to request tickets. Ticket orders are being accepted now and will be filled in order after the Duke Club priority deadline of Tuesday, April 13 at 5 p.m
Tickets can be ordered online at JMUTickets.com or by contacting the JMU Athletics Ticket Office at 540-568-3853. Tickets are $30 each and must be ordered in quantities of two or four tickets (max).
