I’m gona have to call a doctor in about 4 hours....I'm sad for the players absolutely Hanca. I'm just giddy thinking about those fans right now
Actually people have been debating do both teams get "paid" for the game that never was?Should you get credit for making the NCAA tourney if you don’t actually play?
The path they are following is...Strange how VCU had only one 2-day pause this season when they were running their own protocol but got a full takedown once they had to pass the Marion local/ncaa protocol. Hmmmmm.
Btw, if I read the rules correctly, you only have to have five eligible players available, so I interpret this to mean almost the entire team was positive or a close contact.
I'll enjoy watching Bones play five minutes a game next year for the Cavs.
The path they are following is...
One of the Refs that officiated the A-10 Championship was the one who tested positive after dinner with 5 other refs and had to leave the NCAA Tournament.
My only questions would be why didn't it affect the Bonnies too? and Why would it take this long to decide that players on the court with a positive Ref were contacts?
VCU has had multiple players test positive over the past 48 hours. Clearly Bona hasn’t.My only questions would be why didn't it affect the Bonnies too? and Why would it take this long to decide that players on the court with a positive Ref were contacts?
A-10 middle child syndrome. It’s a fitting end to the A-10 this year. This is just embarrassing. Black eye for everyone involved.
I don't much about the passing of COVID between people, but could a Bonny player have symptoms show up soon and test positive? If so Bonny just got down playing LSU, so possible Wade's team could get thrown out. Now that would really make my day though I would feel for the kids.
This saved them 40 minutes of embarrassment by the Ducks. Same result.Rams coach Mike Rhoades said: "We've been tested every day for the past three weeks, but within the past 48 hours we've received multiple positive tests. We are devastated for our players and coaches. It has been a dream for all of us to play in the NCAA Tournament. We appreciate the care of our doctors and administration this year, and all our efforts and attention will be put into our players at this time. Life isn't always fair, but it's about how you deal with it and move forward."
Good statement by Coach Rhoades. Not a fan of VCU but did not want this to happen to them. Best wishes for recovery for those who tested positive.
How long before VCU fans are saying they would have gone all the way?
