Upset in Chapel Hill

This is not one of UNC's better teams, and they were missing their best player, Cole Anthony, today.

Who cares UNC lost. If Terriers beat Duke Thursday. Then that says even more.
This is down year for ACC.

I've never seen college basketball as down as this year. The teams rated at the top aren't very good. None of the traditional powers are as good as usual. Of course, that is good news for the 2nd tier & those who aren't usually able to compete with the big boys.

It is a really strange year. Who are the Top 5 teams in the country right now? Well, that is anybody's guess and check in next week and it will have changed.

Everyone thought Ohio State looked really good and then they go out and whipped by a very pedestrian Minnesota team. Lots of opportunity for mid major runs in the NCAA this year.

I was thinking the same, in regards to a good year for some Cinderella runs. Watched Carolina a few games, and it seems like the two freshman are the only one's that score or shoot, other players have very very little offense. Gonzaga just keeps on winning and winning and winning and winning. And then winning some more - even though this was to be a little bit of a down year for them.

It may be good news for the 2nd tier. It's a double-edged sword. Parity in the Power 5/6 could lead to an exceedingly large bubble.
