I checked the basketball schedule, & it looks like not all games are listed with TV coverage. A bunch are, but there are gaps. Can anyone fill in a few blanks here? Maybe a few more TV coverage games added over time. Maybe local WTVR picks up some of the games? Vanderbilt - guessing maybe via SEC Network? Other ideas?

It would seem that since we can't go to RC to see home games that the athletic dept would help out fans here in obtaining TV coverage.

Any answers / input is appreciated.

There is a string of games (6 I think) on CBS Sports Network this year. Not happy about that because it means I will have to adjust the cable package and that never ends well. I like ESPN+ and wish all the non-national games were available there.

Conjecture - but probably doubtful because ESPN+ is the de facto Spider TV.

Only half of the teams have even announced their schedules so far. There are so many moving pieces that I wouldn't even bother worrying about TV plans yet. There will almost certainly be additional announcements on that front.

Multiple people in the RC have assured me that every home game will be televised, and they are "going to try" to make it more accessible to the local fans who cannot (or are afraid to) attend. This was prior to the no fans announcement.

So you're saying that now we have the "no fans" announcement every game will be shown on at least two television channels plus free streaming!

TV stuff is filling out...bunch more home games on NBC Sports Washington/ESPN+. Detroit Mercy and Morehead State games will be streamed free of charge on YouTube...house video feed with Spider TV radio broadcast over top.

Well hope no one is interested in watching the Charleston game. FloSports is not worth paying for, so I recommend audio only for that game.

What's involved in using the YouTube Page? Haven't used before. Is it just subscribing, & at game time the game will be available?

Yes, in fact the video pages are already up. So just visit them at game time.

Everyone knew Geriot was slow and unathletic following his ACL injury, but watching highlights of him, always remarked that he was actually slower than you thought he was.

He totally used that to his advantage though, post ACL. Such a gamer, tough, physical player. If I'm picking all time guys I want on a team, I want me a Dan Geriot. Not the most talented and probably the least athletic guy out there, but he is gonna hurt you, both with his play, and more to the point, he is going to physically hurt you.

WVU schedule is showing that our game against them will be on ESPN or ESPN2! Vandy's schedule shows that game will be on SEC Network+. St. Joe's schedule shows that game will be on ESPN+.

I think that takes care of all of the holes in our TV schedule (with Morehead State being on YouTube).

Now, unfortunately, a huge number of games are not listed in popular sources, so you have to look for other ways to find them. At first, I didn't even know that there were other games, but when my friends discussed the results of games that I hadn't even heard of, I began to suspect something was wrong. In the end, it really turned out that I missed a relatively large number of games only because I did not know that they would take place. As a result, the easiest solution to this problem was YouTube. From various channels, I learn about absolutely all the games that will take place. This is much more convenient than various posts, since the announcer dictates all the games himself. Also on YouTube, I found a great channel about Sports Picks on which I repeatedly learned really cool information that helped me to find out information about upcoming games, as well as about their possible outcome.

What just happened?

I have read his post a dozen times today and I just get lost every time. I'm not understanding the point or where he's going.
