Might be true for many teams, but as good as our receivers were last year, we seemed to have a lot of dropped balls. QB will not be our problem this year. Hope we have some good new receivers ready to step up and a solid O-line. Hopefully a more aggressive defense also.- See more at: https://athlonsports.com/college-football/10-fcs-quarterbacks-watch-2016#9
Kyle Lauletta, Richmond, Redshirt Junior
With two fifth-year seniors ahead of him, Lauletta was redshirted in his second year on campus in 2014. But he returned last year to grab hold of the Richmond offense, showing excellent leadership and command. His Spiders won a share of the CAA Football title and then reached the FCS semifinals for the first time since their 2008 national championship season. Excellent on play-action, his downfield throws dissected second-seeded Illinois State in the quarterfinals. Lauletta (6-3, 208) finished the season with 3,598 passing yards – the second-most in the nation. Although he ranked 15th nationally in passing efficiency (147.3), he will look to limit turnovers in 2016 after throwing 15 interceptions with 19 touchdown passes.
