I don't enjoy speculating like this but his appearance and his speech pattern suggest he is battling some demons other than COVID.

I hope he gets the help he needs because he is a proud Spider and he provides good coverage.

They had to pull him at halftime of the Wisconsin last season because he was visibly “not well”. Judging that he called the Wisky QB the best one he’s seen in the last two decades there (Russell Wilson?) I’m not surprised. Hope he gets better soon.

Good to see McShay is back. Maybe he’s been back longer but I saw him on a recent espn draft spot.

McShay let go in the recent ESPN/Disney cuts. Too bad, he's done a good job & been there quite a while. For many years looked like heir apparent to Mel Kiper, & I understand they got along quite well.

Wonder if he'll end up at Barstool since he & Portnoy grew up as friends, or maybe back to NFL Network.
