TITLE IX, 40 YEARS OF CHANGE

just received my sport illustrated and the full cover is the above. obviously have not read it yet but cannot wait. know a couple of you guys really have a better handle than i on it so hope i can become more aware, acquire some knowledge, although not sure how balanced the article will be.

ok, must admit am a tad disapointed, just a rah-rah of what it did but no mention, discussion of the negatives. it does paint a pretty gruesome picture of what it was like before the law and it was needed. also get the feeling that nobody wants to challenge the bad parts and try and fine tune it because of perceptions and because you will lose.

Things were absolutely out of line where women's sports were concerned, and corrections were needed. But still nobody wants to hold that hot potato.
