I don't want to get too hyped up, but this team could be special. We absolutely dismantled a really good W&M team today. We have big time play makers on both side of the ball. Jacobi Green has been unstoppable, different runner the Hightower, but he is putting Hightower like performances up on a consistent basis. We have 2 receivers that are absolute match-up nightmares in Brown and Diggs. Unlike last year, where we had to throw the ball to win, we can beat a team running or through the air equally as well.

Defense is very opportunistic. Jones, Howard, and Ogenana (apologies on the misspelling) are all big time play makers and leaders.

And coaching. No question, Rocco can game plan a great game and gets his guys ready to play. To me, our success in the future lies with Lauletta. Eric Ward was not an all world QB when we won the National Championship but he made plays and didn't make mistakes. Lauletta can certainly make plays, if he can avoid the mistakes, I like our chances next week and beyond.

Lauletta is quietly turning into a good, and timely, runner. I love the delayed qb draw he runs.

I thought next year might be our year for this football team..........I hope I'm right!

I think that's why this offense is so much better for suited for KL, because the quarterback doesn't have to make all the plays, but some and avoid mistakes as 97 said.

Biggest fear is Illinois St quarterback and offense is Trotts matchup nightmare. QB that can run and a spread attack.

Roberson is a very, very good player but it's not a bad matchup for our team. JMU game gave us the blueprint.

I see the Redbirds as a cross between the Pukes and VU. Roberson reminds me of an early Vad Lee. Great runner below average passer. Good D, but not a Stonewall D. If we can seal the ends and force the pass I feel good about our chances. Exams next week are the wild card but we should be more healthy still
