The football team is improving and things are looking up. We have a young team that is getting better every day. Tomorrow will be better than yesterday.

The total yards for the offense was very respectable and we saw improvement in the vertical pass game. The defense had some big stops late in the game. Special teams played very well. Lots to be negative about, but there were some positives.

This must be Russ Huesman's account. There needs to be refunds and firings happening.

Let me pose this question for the board: What if we finish the season 1-11 or 2-10? We have 8 games left on the schedule. 5 of those games are against teams currently ranked in the FCS Top 25 (Stony Brook, Maine, Delaware, Villanova, and JMU and all but SB are on the road), we will obviously be under dogs in all those games. The 3 remaining games are Albany, Yale, and W & M (all at home) but right now I'd say we would not be favored in any of those games either. Now, I will be there on Saturday supporting the team (I expect the atmosphere will be anything but overwhelming inside Robins Stadium) so I'm not just blindly criticizing without trying to support the program but this is the reality we are staring at right now. Huesman needs to galvanize his staff and this team now or we will be headed towards some truly dark and apathetic times.
