Didn't we already see an article in the RTD saying that if it took you 5 years to complete 4 years of High School, that you could get a bachelor's in any major at RPI in 3 years?

I won't knock someone for being a fan. Another Spider poster commented that VCU is full of bandwagon fans, but that's what schools need. It's great that UR has attracted a fan who's not connected by being an alumnus. Just thought I'd comment about his stereotypes of VCU students, when he himself was apparently one.

That you know people who don't fit a particular stereotype doesn't make the stereotype wrong. I could quibble with a few of the OP's points ("middle class Virginians" strikes me as a particularly generous description of VCU's student body) but for the most part they are correct. Most stereotypes are not wrong. They are correct. That is how they become stereotypes in the first place.

I think a lot of the stereotypes in this rivalry are severely outdated. I don't know the average age on this board, but having been in Richmond only since 2009 - most of these student stereotypes are not true. Seems most are born out of decades prior.
