My Spider friends are always welcome to stop by for a bite and a beverage at our tailgate. Especially the Peanut Gang, if you are coming up. Our group is on the paved parking area (Gold Lot) to the right of the drive in front of the stadium. Spots 71-73.

Both squads are up and down, and hard to predict, and both are 2-1 in the CAA. This is a meaningful game, and anything can happen. Safe travels for those that are heading north. Peace.

Some of the Peanut Gang will be coming and will stop by for a visit. Looking forward to seeing you!

Will do always greet Rocco with a pair of glasses prior to taking the field before they charge the field he just smiles

Lived in Newark for 2 years in the 70s. Is the Stone Balloon still there. Saw the Pointer Sisters sing there.

It is a more upscale restaurant establishment now, called the Stone Balloon Ale House. A much newer building with condos on upper floors. Springsteen, Dave Matthews and many more performed in the prior place, but that was a long time ago. Was not aware of the Pointer Sisters. Main Street, except for the current extensive road renovation, has become a destination. Two high quality hotels are in the planning/approval stage.

I am looking forward to your reporting on the landscape and lines of vision at the Tub.

A lot has changed, and more is coming at Delaware Stadium. We are in the middle of a $60 mill seating upgrade on the home side, with an athletic support building going up behind the home side. You can get an idea of it here:

Safe travels to all making the trip.

Wow you guys are all in what a beautiful facility y’all will have
Hope we can steal one tomorrow before all of this is completed

Was there 77-80.

I would not put it past you to do such a thing. Not sandbagging here. I have no Idea if an "Elon blown out performance" or a solid "UNH hang on at the finish" team shows up for us. We played very well at Pitt, in losing 14-17, but the Panthers may have been sleepwalking. Thankfully, the weather looks good for the 1:00 kickoff. High of 66 and only 10% chance of rain.

Oh, and I understand that we won't play for the next couple of years, while JMU and W&M come back on for us. We four should be playing every year.

I would like to see the CAA go back to two divisions. It makes scheduling a lot simpler (one would think). Plus it keeps those traditional rivalries intact.
We lost 3 "North" teams and replaced one of them with Elon, making that a little problematic - I'm sure they don't want to split Villanova and Delaware, so they'd have to kick Towson up North, which isn't geographically pure. But heck, Baltimore is in the AFC North.
