this doesn't mean everyone should go lower than their best offer. for some guys the right level is the highest offer. but for others it's not.

 
Side note on Steph. But I personally find him probably the most likeable star in the league. Not a Warriors fan or anything but he is so easy to root for. Just seems like an all around great guy, very well grounded individual.
 
Hindsight is certainly 20/20, but Seth was committed to Liberty before Steph really blew up.

He also had an injury before his senior season that pretty much kept him off the summer AAU circuit.

We were far from the only ones who should have recruited him…just about everybody missed the boat. Even recruiting analysts who watched him considered him a mid-major recruit.

I'll have to check the timeliness, but I remember watching Dell play at Tech and NBA and then seeing Steph and thinking it would be a mistake not to go after Seth. Again, with the move to Duke we likely would have been a one year stop. It seemed to be the exact same reasoning as to why Steoh was not more heavily recruited.
