Loss at Duquesne, Auburn in Birmingham. Only true road win at BC.
Unfortunately, their best offensive skill is Offensive Rebounds.
Fortunately, their worst defensive skill is preventing made threes.
Personally, I'd be fine with a free throw shooting contest.
We are #5 in the nation, they are #353...

Should be a good matchup. They loss a key frosh in Gibson Jimmerson (Richmond VA Kid) who was playing well for them but went down for the season - they have good length on the outside and a beast inside in French who is averaging a double-double right now.
If this game was on the road - I would be very worried. Still think it will be a close game, but Spiders win this one at home 88-82.

I believe they have a freshman out as well, so only 8 deep.
Bench is
6'10" freshman who starts but averages 13 minutes
5'10" senior who has averaged 24 minutes last 5 games but much less before that.
And another freshman now up to 19 minutes last 5 games.
Duquense handled them easily and UMass took them to overtime in their building. UMass sucks. We have a week to prepare for them in our home building, this is a game we should win and if we want to have any type of NCAA aspirations have to win. We have a lot more challenging opponents and situations than SLU at home with a week's rest.
I agree that this is a game we should expect to win and should win. I doubt there will be 170 points scored in it, but who knows. We definitely can't afford to take anyone for granted, but this league is there for the taking. Dayton struggled big time with the same St. Joe's team we just annihilated, and we get Dayton at home in front of what should be a very good crowd in a few weeks. If we take care of business before then (even with one loss, since it's a tough stretch), then win that game, we could find ourselves in the driver's seat before long.
Billikens are mythological creatures...............here is to keeping SLU's chances of a victory at Richmond in the mythological category as well................but their cheer and dance team is real................
Another team on our revenge tour is all. They knocked us out of A10 tourney last year in a game we should have won. Take care of business Spiders.
We owe a lot of teams, keep checking them off Spids. Except VCU apparently, 6-18 Mooney is not supposed to beat them b/c they have a larger recruiting pool than we do - as does everyone in A10 minus Davidson, but it only applies to beating VCU I'm told.

Pretty much everyone has beaten us the past two years, so we got a lot of payback to dish out.

Thank you for this Spider fan. I have been a long time closet fan of the Billiken cheering squad (don't tell my wife)
We share that sentiment in common. My wife would also chide me for my interest.
I don't care if my wife knows. Hell, I may print that and tape it up in my kitchen.
