Spiders' strength-and-conditioning boss Scott Brincks brings on-field coaching experience

This guy was a clutch pull for RH. While UR had more than a dozen players on IR by the end of last season, UTC had one player - in three years - on IR, and that was from getting his hand stepped on. While Olympic lifts will still occur, that is not the focus of Brincks' philosophy. He is big on core strength and flexibility, helping the players get better with their football movement and speed. Much different than the last strength coach at UR.

This guy seems like a real steal. Having a coaching background seems like a huge positive.

appears that we got very lucky when rocco departed and feel that both delaware and UR will get even better with the changes. do not know how we will come out of the gate next season but think that long term, we have the right big whistle and staff for our young student/athletes to excel on the field, in the classroom and in life. thanks for posting 32

Not on campus anymore so out of the loop but met him a few months back shortly after he was hired and was very impressed with him. Didnt really talk much about football just about the area, seemed really excited to be part of the school and talked about how excited RH was to return to campus.

Injuries were our undoing last year, if we had that same healthy team we played against UVA I don't know who would of lost to us. We were a zombie team by the end of last season. Hopefully new coach has an approach to keeping us healthier.

do people on here actually sit around waiting for someone to hit a like button? maybe we should have a "what in the hell is wrong with you button".
