Sid made the Bucs.

Hightower made the Saints.

Rogers made the Skins.

Did I miss anyone? Great day for our program. Is this the most players we've had in the NFL at one time?

Kendall Gaskins got cut by the 49ers and Sidbury got cut by the Buccaneers.

Sid was on the broadcast in the second quarter today with Bob and Chris talking about how he was getting ready for the season, so I'm sure getting cut was a pretty big shock to him. Strange.

there are all kinds of transactions, pickups and signings going on so the rosters are not set yet, keep the fingers crossed for our guys.

Cooper Taylor is listed as the starting strong safety for the Giants going into game 1. The rest of the guys are backups.

Geez, Taylor was out for Giants tonight. Not sure why but not good, he's missed a lot of time. Had a good training camp so hoping to see him soon

Never saw Kerry Wynn either. Rogers got a lot of action in the Redskins game but looked really tentative about contact.

Kerry played well. He hit Dez Bryant so hard on one play that Dez' helmet flew off.

Hightower was resigned by Saints who probably cut him to avoid guaranteeing his entire salary for the season as a vested veterans if on roster week 1. Now only guaranteed 25 percent if they cut him. Great to see him back regardless after the long recovery.

the new cba and more realistic salaries for rookies coming in has also been a negative in some ways for the vets. many teams cut them because newer players are way cheaper.

Yes he is back with them--looks like Gaskins has a chance to get some good PT (although on a depleted and horrible 49ers team) with all their RB injuries this week. However he was building himself into a FB so not sure how that will play out.
