Probably 12 teams for 8 byes, we likely won't be top 5. But last 3 could be any of 7 or so...including us.

This is the first time I remember us being the AQ in a very long time. I don't think we've ever been the AQ in the CAA.
We were not the AQ in '07,'08,'09 or '14.

Richmond.com said that Richmond, JMU & W&M have never made the playoffs in the same year. Kind of hard to believe!

Correct. Back in 2007, we tied with UMass for the conference championship and the conference ADs were supposed to vote on who should get the auto bid. The ADs said it was impossible to choose one over the other and since it was clear both would get in anyway, they opted for a coin flip to determine the auto bid and UMass won it.

In 2009 we were co-champs with Nova, but they got the auto bid due to head to head record.
