Spider Simon Gray Named AD at Niagara

Many will remember Simon Gray, a Spider alum who spent several years in athletic PR at UR before following Mark Sandy to EKU. After moving up the ranks there, he's been named AD at Niagara.

In a bit of a twist, Simon has actually been serving as interim AD at EKU since January 1 after Mark was asked to temporarily fill the marketing and communications VP role for the university while they struggle with an external search for a permanent hire there. Don't know the exact timeline on EKU's extended search, but I imagine Mark will be returning to AD position by the start of the school year.

Congrats Simon! Got to do a internship with him in high school when he was still here and is a first class guy all the way!!!

Mentioned it in the other thread, but Simon and I graduated in the same class and had a bunch of classes together. A really genuine guy. I'm excited for him.
