Spider JMU on TV?

Actually, Comcast Sports Net Plus, channel 578 on Verizon Fios.
For other cable or dish providers, go to Channel-Finder.
If you are out of the area, you can go to the JMU site where they are streaming it.

Per CAA Website:

I may try to go to a Sports bar and see the game on Direct TV, if it's shown down here. I don't believe JMU is offering streaming. At least that's what it appeared, when I visited their site.

iSpider, I hope you're right, but I just checked again, and it appears that you can only listen to the game. I'd rather listen to Bob Black.

I thought ESPN moved all the cameras from Happy Valley to Harrisonburg to show the game?

It appears that you can see streaming video of game on caa.tv, beginning at 3:05. It's a JMU broadcast, maybe Il'll listen to Bob Black, and watch the muted video stream.

I'm a little ticked off that richmondspiders.com didn't show a link to the FREE streaming video of game on caa.tv and Madizone. Do you hear me Bob Black? I heard that JMU had 20k viewers of the live stream. How many does SpiderTV get? I'd think we'd want to attract a wider audience, of possible students, athletes, and fans.

Actually, they did have a link. Just needed to go to Game Day Central and scroll down. Admittedly, it wasn't as apparent as it usually is, but it was there.

JMU's highlights are obviously more balanced, but actually show much of what happened for both sides..

That's always bothered me about UR's highlights reels - they only show our highlights which makes it appear that we pitch a shutout every week.

As far as highlights who wants to watch the opponent score? As far as streaming JMU offers free streaming which is the way to go and the way to build up the fan base. Thought the JMU broadcast on Madizone was well done other than the answer made to the Spider fan who asked why a tough opponent like Richmond was picked for the homecoming opponent? The "malarkey" answer about having to be after "Family Weekend" failed to mention that said "Family Weekend" could have been moved to an earlier game.

Nothing like beating an opponent on their Homecoming---lets hope more teams schedule us for their Homecoming in the future. It was a great atmosphere Saturday, one that I think our team thrived on. And I certainly enjoyed sitting in the middle of prime JMU seats wearing RED.

The game is on demand on CAA tv, if you care to watch it. I gave twice.

The Comcast broadcast is being repeated at 2pm on Tuesday 10/27 on SNYTV ( Sportsnet NY) channel 639 on DirecTV, and again on Wednesday 10/28 at 10:30pm on Comcast Sportsnet California ( DirecTVchannel 698). I recorded it tonight, it's 3 hours long but is edited a bit as the action picks up at 7-7 in the first quarter and also doesn't show Yoder's FG that gave us an 18-14 lead. Good production though. My only complaint, and it is not a small one, is they skipped over the on sides kick.

Thx Wolf, shame they missed the onside kick. I think that was a tone setter

While at the game, set the DVR to record it live on comcast and the game was interrupted for a rugby match just before the 2-pt conversion and returned picking up the end of the replay of the on-side kick--

I found it interesting that Comcast blacked the game out in my area. I'm in NC about 8 miles from the SC border, 300 or so miles from JMU. I had planned on watching the game all week, I sat down and watched the pregame, it cut to a commercial before the kickoff and the blackout screen came up during the commercial. I eventually streamed it through the JMU website, but the game was into the second quarter before I had it all figured out. Would be nice, somehow, to know the blackout areas prior to my screen going black. More than a little frustrating.

I should have recorded it on my VCR since it is a timeless classic...

I'll be keeping it on the DVR for a while.

You can still watch the replay on the CAA website for free, though it's the JMU production not CSN.
