We shot 42 times ,with 20 on goal and 12 goals.Wasted possessions.

If we increase our shooting accuracy on Saturday and control the rest of the game as we did today(FO and saves)we should have a successful Saturday.

Felt like the game we played at Jax was set up to be a disappointment...on the road, coming off the UVA win, etc. Hopefully we are ready to go Saturday and take it to them from the outset.

Jacksonville is very good and has a good coach. We will be ready and playing them on a neutral field will help. Will be a very hard fought contest and probably go to the wire.

Yes we are the only one that high up and to the right that is not ranked in the Top 10.

Having lost to G(Georgetown),JAX and D(Duke) all upper quadrant were a negative for sure but the particular loss to UNC was a relatively bad loss among the major players.

The JAX early season win v Duke was the launch pad for their higher ranking.Unlike UR,JAX did not schedule any other major during its regular season.

BTW of all the majors which UR scheduled,I thought that Georgetown was by far the most talented.

Agree. Georgetown is very talented. And that previous article you referenced about why JAX has to win the SoCon title in order to get a bid shows how tenous their hold on a Top 10 ranking is. We played a much tougher overall schedule and hopefully that will serve us well against them tomorrow!

Helps that this game is neutral and not at Jville this time. That being said we will have our hands full today.

Lets see ESPN3 has the seeding and records wrong. Amateurs. Solid D to start the game 0 shooting lanes for Jacksonville.

How are we looking? I see the score is 4-4. Traveling, can't watch.

Need better faceoffs. Jville goalie is having a good game so I'm hesitant to say we aren't converting on our opportunities. Started off hot but the Phins were able to hang around and pace began to slow down. Defense is sound. Offense got a bit sloppy once it started to rain.
