YOU’RE INVITED FOR THE SPIDERS’ 2020 NATIONAL SIGNING DAY PARTY!


Head coach Russ Huesman and Spider Football invite you and up to three guests to their 2020 National Signing Day Party, exclusively for YOU, our season ticket holders! You’ll hear directly from the Spider football coaching staff as they discuss the incoming class of Spiders for the upcoming season.

When: Wednesday, February 5, 2020

Time: 5-5:30 p.m. – Mix & Mingle; 5:30-6:30 p.m. – Signing Day Program

Where: Buz and Ned’s BBQ on Broad Street!

There will be light snacks served prior to programming, courtesy of Buz and Ned’s BBQ. The event precedes the Spider women’s basketball game against crosstown rival VCU at 6:30 p.m. at the Robins Center and will be live-streamed at the restaurant immediately following the program. ROBINS STADIUM CLAIMS TOP SPOT IN STADIUM JOURNEY’S RANKING IN 2019


Robins Stadium, the home of Spider Football, was ranked the top stadium in NCAA FCS Football for the 2019 by Stadium Journey. The rankings takes into account all the factors that encompass the game day atmosphere: food, atmosphere, neighborhood, fan support, accessibility, value and more.

thanks 32...for football starved fans it's always interesting to see what others think of your recruits...we'll know how good the class is in a few years...

based on this analysis it looks like we're still battling to get back into the top tier of CAA recruiting...

So I guess we officially add in: Jabril Hayes - DB - Sherando, Stephens City, VA - 5'10"/170. Dante Black - RB - 3 Yrs Eligibility - Brookwood (UConn), Snellville, GA - 5'10"/191. John Fitzgerald - TE - 2 Yrs Eligibility - Gilman (Cornell), Baltimore, MD - 6'4"/245

Dante has enrolled and will play Spring ball.Been advised he’s a big+ especially with Dykes still on the mend.

No word on additional signees or additional transfers.
