Senior Night

It's time to stop complaining about Mooney and appreciate everything these seniors have done for us. One of the best classes in Richmond history and they gave us a lot of incredible memories. It sucks that they might not get to experience an ncaa tournament but they have still done so much for us. I wish the arena would be full for tonight for their sendoff. Wish all of them would stay but unfortunately I know that will not happen so I have to wish the best of luck to all of them in their future.

Wonder if this will shed any light on who is coming back for another season?

I agree 2005. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to these 5 guys over their Spider careers. they've worked so hard, fought through injuries, recovered from surgeries, endured the highs and lows of the big wins and losses. as emotional as these games are for fans, it's nothing compared to what the team goes though. I hope they'll always look back fondly at their years here and know they were appreciated.

Gilyard will get into top 10 in steals after tonight and would love to see him break all time assists record on senior night. He needs 6 to tie and 7 to break it.

On a positive note we have played well against St.Joseph. The concern I have is how well we will defend the 3 point line. If St.Josephs makes a lot of threes it could be a long night. Hoping not so.
