san francisco, supervisor S. WEINER, no kidding, has proposed a regulation banning nudity on the streets. what is the world coming to if you cannot observe nakedness on said streets, there goes the tourism business, screw fisherman's wharf and alcatraz, it is the naked men and women who really count.

Spinner was out in San Fran earlier this year during a very warm weather span and this was big news out there and yes there was no shortage of naked people but appears to mainly be confined to certain areas of the city most notably, the Castro district. Apparently, they passed an ordinance last year that you had to sit on a towel if you were out in public naked. And that should give you pause just there.

i always tote a towel with me as i walk the streets of the castro district.

although a tragedy, not sure on the same scale as losing twinkies
