My family's deepest sympathies go out to the families of the 19 brave young firefighters who were killed in the Yarnell fire just south of Prescott. Fourteen of the 19 were very young guys (still in their 20's). These young men are the bravest of the brave, working in the most difficult of circumstances in 115+ degree temperatures. I pray that our Arizona Monsoon rains come soon to lessen the impact of these terribly destructive fires. May these brave young souls rest in eternal peace.

we lost some brave ones here in houston recently, we forget how dangerous the job is, whether in an urban setting or out in the wild. thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends and thanks to all of you who risk your lives daily for the rest of us.
