Sacramento State(11-0)

No safety anywhere near that last touchdown. Banks was in the vicinity 10 yards behind the catch.

It was there for us. Sac St tried to give us the game for most of it. They got a major mulligan that frankly completely changed the trajectory of the game from the officials and despite their self destruction in the 3rd, we couldn't pull away from them. Once we missed that field goal, all downhill. All in all a good season, but what could have been. Ranks up there in all time painful losses.

Why did their qbs not have any trouble gripping the ball to throw but ours was throwing dying ducks the entire second half? Makes no sense. Did we not keep our balls as dry as theirs? Did the refs have a part in that? Does Udinski have small or weak hands? Never seen such a difference in 38 years of watching football.

What he said. If RU couldn’t throw the ball, he shouldn’t be in the game. Their guys were able to throw enough to get the win. That was awful.

Our secondary sucks. Always has under Huesman.

Is what the announcer said about udanski not rotating the ball to the laces? If so a wet a ball would have been that much harder to throw

There was rain in the forecast all week, how do you get to a point where your QB is incapable of throwing a ball that wasn’t a duck in the second half?

31 points is enough. Whoever coaches the defense on this team should be fired on the plane ride home.

At the expense of sounding like a homer, the defense scored on a fumble scoop and score. It got overturned but from what I saw on replay we got robbed. That score would have changed everything.
I will homer along with you, that play had is stood puts the game in a whole different place (14-point swing), the kick return for a TD to start the second half were huge. Losing Philip O'connor almost as soon as the game started was big also, however Hoilette played one hell of a game, in relief.
Spiders did get the call back late in the game on a call that was just as close and called incomplete, but we were playing catch up then due to the two plays above.
Anyway, glad for the players they made the playoffs, been too long a drought.

Being at the game today seeing every play we definitely had it there for the taking. Weather was terrible,Secondary on one side failed, special teams were not up to par and as everyone could see, after Reece lost grip on that 1st play after their turnover, he lost confidence and never could throw with accuracy any more. Defense up front and linebackers were fantastic.O line did their job, We almost were able to win with our running game but needed those throws that our Quarterback made all year. I will always remember this trip to California that was just not Quite “ENOUGH “. What a ride, great to be back in the mix🕷🕸👏
