Hi all,

I’m planning on attending an upcoming game at the Robins Center and would like advice on where the best section to sit is. I’ll be attending with a friend who is alum of an opponent and she wants to sit in an away section. Where do the away fans usually sit? What’s the best section to sit in generally? And is there any advice on parking- can you park by the arena?

Welcome! There are no bad seats in the house, but if you sit in sections 7,8,9 or 10 you will be close to the visiting team's bench and probably near some fans of that team. (Unless it's VCU, in which case you're not invited to attend. )

Parking is by permit in most of the lots right around the arena, but sometimes that's hit or miss. I've parked with and without a permit so far this year in the New Fraternity Row lot (C62 on the link below) just across the street from the arena. There is also a section of free parking in the lot attached to the arena (C61), but sometimes that fills up early depending who the opponent is.

Lots of free parking on the other side of the football stadium (near the Law School and elsewhere).
