after the ugly win in DC Wednesday I was worried about the pesky Minutemen coming to the Robins Center tonight...four minutes into the game I wasn't worried anymore...they never knew what hit them!
with each game possibly an NCAA Tournament At-Large elimination game, the performance tonight came at the most important time of the season...its hard to imagine how we could have played much better after putting the game away midway through the first half...we showed some finishers instinct!
tonight we had the energy and emotion necessary to play harder than UMass all night...the movement and passing on the offensive end was clinical and how about the rebounding?...we wanted it more than they did and we went and got em!
two down and two to go to win out the season...we need this type of emotion and skill next week...
congrats to the team on an outstanding game...
