the Spiders continue to give the fans lots to like...tonight was the first time we have been challenged for the victory in the second half since Auburn...we wouldn't let them have it!
I really liked the way we answered every time Riller and Miller went off for the Cougars...despite being unable to control those guys we never lost the lead...great cuts, passes and assists answered on the offensive end, or we got a stop and a rebound on defense...
at crunch time Francis and Gilyard were perfect from the line...the team had a chance to give this one away and didn't do it...
Grant Golden had an impressive all around game and that three he made was clutch...was that his first of the year?
this 9-1 start continues to be compared the the great 1985-86 squad that started 16-1...I don't know if we'll get to 16-1, but this sure has been entertaining basketball...can't wait until January 2 to see these guys play again...
