like many Spiders fans I'm very disappointed in how our season has turned out, but I was really glad to see the players pull this one out tonight on Senior Night...despite all of our struggles during the "super seniors" six and five seasons I've never lost my respect for the players and support for them...congratulations on the win tonight...
at halftime a win seemed about as likely as an NCAA At-Large bid, but that shocking second half defensive turnaround just leaves you wondering why we couldn't do that more often...the Billikens are the highest scoring team in the A-10...
it was good to see Gilyard and Cayo with solid games on Senior Night, but I really enjoyed seeing Nick Sherod finish that second half run to take the lead with those two threes...that was vintage!...Golden didn't have his usual game, but nobody will remember those final FTs after the Spiders final defensive stop to get the win...
