Trying to take our winning streak to 4 over the Panthers picked pre-season to finish 2nd in the Missouri Valley .. but only 2-6 with one victory over D1 opponent ironically P6 Stanford. My prediction - Spiders pull out a road win - 83-77.

"Solid" isn't how I would describe it. More like "required." They're not a good team.

it was a pretty good crowd 2 years ago for a early Sunday start - I do remember a very good barbecue sandwich and some hoppy Midwestern IPA.

And now a memory … so after the game two years ago I decided to just stay in Waterloo on that Sunday night after a couple strong early afternoon IPAs even though I had like a 6am flight in Des Moines the next morning - not much happening on a Sun night in Waterloo but I managed to find a sports bar like place to eat dinner near the Courtyard I stayed out … it was a relatively warm early Dec evening when I went to bed early … I woke up around 2 and as I headed to my rental car in the parking lot realized that the 1st Arctic front of the season had passed thru / crazy cold and windy / the drive was so dark and harsh for two hours or so … when I filled up the rental as I headed into Des Moines the wind was so strong I could barely open the door - can’t wait until my next adventure in Iowa

We fall behind early but claw back and tie it at halftime. 2nd half we come out hot and never give up the lead.

Bigelow is open from 3 often for a reason. He needs to play to his strengths which is not a contested 3 ball.
