Man enough to come on here and admit I was dead wrong about this team. They never quit, they did the impossible, winning 4 games in 4 days, beating the Top 3 seeds in the process. Such mad respect for these guys, they truly deserve this.

Gilly just willed us all tournament with unbelievable play. And Grace with jugular shots in back to back games. You couldn't have written this script. Let's go dancing. GO SPIDERS.

Some of the criticism of coach and team were deserved during the season. But, they all showed tremendous heart and guts in this tournament. One of the greatest athletic achievments in Spider history to win 4 in 4 days beating the numbers 1, 2 and 3 seeds on consecutive days. Gilyard especially willed us to win. He sealed his fate as one of the greatest guards in Spider history. His steal and coast to coast drive for the and one was a monumental highlight. And Grace was fantastic at the end. Showed a lot of toughness! Well done, guys!

Congrats to the super seniors and seniors that put the Spiders over the top. As the realists pointed out as the season progressed, winning the A10 tournament was the only way to get the Spiders to the NCAAs and they managed to do it. The strength of this team was never giving up. There were plenty of times when they could have including the decision of the super seniors to return instead of moving on with their lives. No doubt the leader of the pack was Jacob Gilyard, who definitely was preoccupied with getting the all time NCAA steals record early in the season, but when the sand was running out in the hourglass he willed his team to a championship. Of course, he needed some help and got it from Andre‘s D and crazy effort by Matt Grace. Glad the team persevered and made the SpiderNation proud.

Go Spiders!

This is the point I've tried to make for the last several years. We ALL want the same thing....winning basketball.

Ain't it great that EVERYONE HERE can get along and agree on the same things? This is all we ever asked for, right here. GO SPIDERS!!

Was truly a team effort. Love that bench guys came in and weren’t scared. Crabtree with clutch minutes today. Wilson with a huge 3 yesterday. We played with intensity starting in the 2nd half of the Rhode Island game. If we can play with that intensity, we can win more games. We are a tough matchup. We are playing with house money - let’s keep it going.
