Recognition of Military Veterans

All season ticket military veterans are invited to be on the court when the team is introduced for the Veterans' Day game against VMI. Glad the school is doing this.

All season ticket military veterans are invited to be on the court when the team is introduced for the Veterans' Day game against VMI. Glad the school is doing this.

Why is the American Flag hidden behind the scoreboard at Robins Stadium? A more fitting location would be on Lessing Plaza at the main entrance. In addition the flag needs to be official size and flown from a taller flag pole. This would be an ongoing tribute to service men and women and a reminder to all as to how fortunate we are. Maybe a plaque could be added as recognition of all UR alumni who have served in the military over the years
