Can anyone comment on the status of our RB's? How is Fisher doing? How is Green? Is Collins getting more reps in practice?
Satchmo I agree as Kyle showed signs of making some poor decisions the last two games and Nova teams play very smart. Now in fairness the last interception should have been caught by Brown who dropped severa passes he normally catches. If Brian caught that last pass we would have won that game cause we were driving, not far outside the Red Zone. I just thought Kyle was trying to hit too many home runs last game.if Jacobi came through NH unscathed...not so worried about RB's as Seth may be back and Collins/Broaddus give us two more options...both performed well against NH...
I'm more worried about the confidence of Lauletta...he had played superbly and exceeded my and most fans expectations until the third quarter against Albany...since then we all know what has happened...
going up against crafty Andy Talley will be challenging for sure...I'm sure Coach Rocco, Fisher and Woods will be doing all they can to help KL get his good mojo back...I believe he will find it again...

Coach stated today that we tried to hit the big play way too many times and that KL should have checked down to the underneath receivers that were running free. I think KL is a little too confident going downfield to the two studs. He will be fine. Spiders by 10. Team has something to prove as do the coaches.Palmer will surprise if he gets in.Our 11 and 12 are getting doubled sometimes 12 got tripled in Durham. We got away with it at JMU and now people have tightened coverage. We should have people freed up underneath.People are dropping LB's into coverage. Our offensive strategies need to adapt as to what defenses are giving us.
His tendency is to throw the ball up and hope his receivers catch the ball. He gets locked into one play or one receiver. Everyone knows it now. One pass in the UNH game he threw into triple coverage. He is a very good QB and this is a habit that he will correct.Coach stated today that we tried to hit the big play way too many times and that KL should have checked down to the underneath receivers that were running free. IMHO, Collins should be part of the solution. I would hate to risk an injury to Green. If that happens UR will really be in a bind.I realize the sample size is very small, but Collins looks like he runs hard. Wouldn't mind him getting a few more carries to keep Green fresh (if that is part of the concern why we didn't run more).
Numbnutitis. It seems that one of our posters likes to put forth a premise and then usually follows up immediately with contradicting sentiments in a subsequent posting.Anyone out there have an exact name for this kind of activity?
He is a good quarterback who may become very good. 8 interceptions and locking onto receiver are not traits of very good qb. Believe he will have better game this week. His tendency is to throw the ball up and hope his receivers catch the ball. He gets locked into one play or one receiver. Everyone knows it now.
