Was mentioned on the premium board earlier, but deserves a public thread...6'7" SF out Virginia Episcopal with offers from Providence, UNLV, and Penn State. Moved from NC to AZ at the beginning of high school before coming back east to VES last summer.

His dad Patrick Kelly (not the former UR football player) was a TE at Syracuse and in the NFL. He passed away from brain cancer in 2003 at the age of 37.

Hopefully we can continue to win and Pitt may just continue to "tank" and maybe Grant's little brother starts thinking about where he would be most comfortable playing, and how nice it might be to play with his big Bro. Having the two Goldens on this team, even if it took an extra year for the transfer to happen, would be a huge recruiting win. And, it is probably more likely to happen than this guy, who seems, at present, to be more in love with the Power-5 conferences.

Kind of my thinking as well and I would say probably more likely, hopefully. Yes, Pitt has experienced coach and lots of frosh playing but ..... for Mrs. & Mr. Golden traveling to one location lot easier to watch their boys. I put Mrs. first, cause a boy never wants to see his mother feeling sad. lol
