But I followed Jerry Palm's site in the past before there was a Ken Pomeroy site. I think our last year in the CAA was my last subscription.

He became a little less insightful after RPI added location.
And is less visible at CBS than Lunardi is at ESPN, but still his closest competitor.

I know, that is when they became enamored with him for a while.
I think, but can't be sure he had us in as the last team in 2001.

I guess my above post would be more accurate if I said it took him a few year's to accurately predict the road/home factor...

The reason the fluctiations are so great from week to week at this point is because its too early for these bracket predictions. When you win a game today, they not only have to try and predict how games you will win the rest of the season, but they must also try to predict out the schedule of your opponent to see how they will end up as well.

But given the early stage - I would say Lunardi is probably about right. I don't think we are in the conversation yet (first 8 out) of a bid at this point in time. Had we not lost to Radford and Alabama - likely a different story.

BUT - if we do win against St. Louis and Davidson, I think we creep into that conversation with Lunardi and probably enter first 8 out territory and probably stay as 11 in Palms for time being.

If we win next two we are MORTAL LOCK for his first 8 out, he would be such the outlier if he didn't have us there at the minimum. But only at UR under big hat no cattle Hardt could we pay Lunardi and get the exact opposite result of what we wanted.

Technically today's news too. Lunardi bracket update came out today.

If someone wants to close their eyes and wake up on Selection Sunday that is their prerogative. We haven't been in this position in a while, even when we were #1 seed in NIT, I think pretty normal to look and discuss these things.

Agree to an extent. The point is that you can't go back and change results of played games. Seems like the real discussion would center around what happens in the unplayed games IF we win that one or lose this one. Eyes wide open looking at St Louis as a must win.
