Pac-12 cancels all sports through end of the year

At this point, I'm 50/50 on hoping for a full cancel of the season, with an NCAA offer to let schools allow anyone retain their year of eligibility. I don't want some watered down season where these guys get to play 16 games at most, with high risk of cancellation and no tournament. I want these guys to get a for real senior season with fans, a full slate, and a real run at the tournament.

Posted this in the thread over on the football board, but figured some folks might not be checking over there.

Pac-12 just announced it's canceling all sport competitions through the end of the year, so their non-conference hoops schedules are basically out the window.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, does it make a sound. If the Pac 12 cancels sports, does anyone east of Colorado notice?

The Pac 12 might want to focus on how to make their sports competitive, so perhaps taking the year off to reflect on the shoddy shape of their "BCS" status is a good thing.

Risk with that - would Francis, Sherod, and Golden want to stick around for a 6th year in college. Maybe, but I’m not so sure.

This whole thing and they way we are handling it is so damn insane.

You and I agree here. It is pretty insane that people would rather kill others than do something as simple as wear a mask. Every other country is laughing at us
