accomplished so far? in first place, clinched a winning season but that is about all. we have a lot of work to do and teams nipping at our heels for the caa title. the only thing that matters, other than savoring yesterday a tad longer, is to get ready for albany. cannot assume any game is a win, have to go out there, focus and play every game like it is a championship game, because that is what each remaining game represents.

Last four games are gonna be brutal...including this one if the guys don't quickly forget this JMU game. For some reason the UNH game I thinks going to be our toughest remaining one. I don't ever remember us playing well up there and I don't care if there down this year. Targets now on our back.

I'm gladly eating my weekly dose of crow. We just have to maintain the same level of intensity in the next four games.

We are in control of our destiny. The CAA championship runs through Richmond. I agree the remaining games will be tough. DR has a tough job getting th3eteam focuused on Albany. That being said, I dont think this team will have a let down game. I think this team is a very focused and deturmined and has a true leader in KL. If our O line plays like it did yesterday the rest of the year, I think the Spiders are capable of a deep playoff run. But one game at a time, we have to beat Albany.

The interesting game at this stage which will be JMU at W&M next week. As far as balance on both sides of the ball
I think W&M is the most dangerous left. UNH is very beatable as is Nova. Let's take care of Albany and stay away from
any key injuries.

For this local fan that lives in southern VA this team has given me a smile and feeling of pride for a job well done in a hostile environment. I am also enjoying my brunch in Harrisonburg in a nice red Spider polo. Nothing but respect all around and no lip to put up with from Dukes fans. That means a lot to me!

We have to win more football games before we do anything else. Right now, we are 6-1 and are are hitting the toughest part of the schedule. None of the remaining games will be easy. NOVA, UNH and W&M will be very tough. I am also concerned about our injuries.

Don't let the names on the jerseys fool you. UNH and NOVA have losing records for a reason. UNH has no good wins and lost to some poor teams. NOVA's only good win came before they lost their quarterback. They are 1-3 since then. WM is the real deal, but no one else should be in the top 40 in the next poll.

I agree with D, don't take any team for granted. We have a chance to do something special don't get over confident.

as most teams find out, see umwcah yesterday, it is very difficult to play at your best each and every game, thus you have teams who will play you at their best and you cannot match them even though you may be better. as mentioned before, we can beat every team remaining on our schedule but every team left can beat us as well. if we could bottle yesterday and play at that level every saturday, we would be on baby but, alas, rarely happens. just one game at at time and yes, it is time to look at other team's schedules and root for the right teams to lose. when you win one like yesterday, the next week you can still be on a high or you can come out flat so hope the coaches have a great week of practice set up for the guys and a game plan that is aggressive and not trying not to lose, a formula for a loss, even at home.

We've got enough upperclassmen and leadership on this team that I don't think we have to worry about a letdown. They're on a mission and still have chips on their shoulders from all the disrespect this season and past few years. While I'd love to see our O put up same kind of #'s as yesterday, doubt we get the ball enough against upcoming opponents. They'll certainly be doing everything possible to keep ball away from our O. Know D wasn't happy with giving up 49 points yesterday so they've got the perfect opportunity to get back on track this Sat.

I'm not taking anything for granted, but UNH and Villanova are nowhere near as fearful as we all thought they would be before the season started. We have played well at Nova in the past, and the guys on our team have never beaten New Hampshire, so they will be up for that game for sure. W&M will be difficult, but at least we will be at home. Certainly winning out is more than just a dream. Of course, if we win out then my biggest fear would be losing Rocco!

Can't say it enough, THE O-LINE WAS AWESOME YESTERDAY

Tickets $35.00; brunch $15.00; humbled Dukes priceless!
