Nova lost

This is a stunning loss for nova. Even without Robertson they were huge favorites. The CAA is wide open given the struggles of nova and UNH. I believe W&M is a solid team and should be near the top of the league all year. They have experience at QB and a really good back in Abdul-Sabor. JMU is still an unknown in my opinion because they have played such a bad schedule so far. SBU looks like it could be a contender, but I need to see more out of them in the next couple of weeks. We just need to get healthy, run the ball, and continue to develop KL.

On a related note, the CAA needs most of its traditional powers to get back to playing National Championship caliber football. When Delaware, UNH, Nova, W&M, JMU, and UR are all contenders, the conference is better off, although personally I really enjoy it when JMU struggles.

penn was a 27 point dog; probably will only have jmu in the top 15 on Monday. at this rate only 3 teams may be selected post season. w &m is a hand full and is a strong darkhorse

OK, any docs out there, which L is the pcl, just too many of these things for guys like me to keep up with

CAA may be weaker than expected maybe good for our won/loss record but bad for number of bids in the playoffs.

I had Maine and RI in win column with my 4-7 guess. That may have been too few wins? I hope.

could have sworn you were a barrister not a md but what the heck. now, is this just a rest CL or a surgery CL type of deal? remember R, don't practice outside your license.....

My son tore his PCL in soccer and in football it is more common among linemen. It is where the
knee is hit straight on and pushed back cause PCL runs behind the knee. Few Orthopods due the surgery.
Good news is recovery is generally successful simply by building up quad and calf muscles to keep knee stable.
The choice is to shave or clip the torn ligament without reconnecting or use a cadaver ligament to help reconnect it but recovery much longer. My son chose first method and did great.

The linemen wear brace most of time to prevent PCL tears. The team physician for Wake Forest was one of 5 surgeons who did PCL surgery in NC and he recommended first method and shared with us all the athletes with PCL tears and it was amazing. He said ACL gets all the press.
