Sure hope Bryce becomes a Spider; showing a lot of promise! OSC

a little concerned he's blowing up way too early. won't matter if he really wants to play with Grant. but I think he'll have a lot of options.

spiderman, you got that right. Bryce will have a number of offers; hopefully he prefers UR. OSC

This is not a statement on Bryce but let's not get too hyped off of random Twitter dude who spends his time watching AAU games and tweeting about them.

97, agree 100%, however would be great to here Bob's call of Bryce dunking over a vdu defender. OSC

Congratulaions to Bryce on being named a Top 60 player in his recruiting class! Come on. Be a Spider! OSC

normally I wouldn't like to see that high ranking. he'll have plenty of options. but in this case, he'll either want to play with his brother or not. could go either way, but I still like our chances.

Me too, spiderman. OSC

Maybe someone can go do a gentle Gillooly'ing on his leg so that the P5 backs off him long enough for us to secure his commitment. Not that I condone that kind of thing...

This is the flip side of the recruiting game. Sometimes you can luck your way into a great talent. I sure hope that is the case here. It would be awesome to get them both into the pipeline. It doesn't take too many great gets like this to turn around a program in a hurry. Much different from all other sports in that regard – a couple dominant players and you can burst onto the national scene fast.

As long as he doesn't get an offer from Pittsburgh University, I'm okay.

No kidding.... At this point, I kinda hope he gets a lot more offers like that. I don't want Duke or Kentucky to come calling, but the P5 schools that are not "elite" – definitely. It will make it all the sweeter when we get him.

offers like that mean we're right. he's a heck of a prospect. but no, I don't want a ton of those offers. I'll gladly take Bryce under the radar.
the most important thing in his recruitment might be Grant's early success. Grant needs to be ready to go. if he tears it up and loves it here, and we win, we might land the big Bryce fish.

Believe me. Grant would have had high major offers like his brother had he not been injured his junior year. We were fortunate that he just really liked UR. OSC

yeah, I believe that. now if Grant can become the starting 4 sometime this season and average 8 ppg and 6 rpg ...

Should we be worried that if Bryce does not choose UR and gets a high P5 offer and Grant is as good as Ulla says that Grant might transfer to be with Bryce?

Let's see how negative we can get --- really!!!! Grant has said he wanted to be in Richmond, he got what he wanted, unless he if unsupported he will be fine.

Could also worry that your car doesn't start in the morning. OSC

How old were Grant & Bryce when they moved from Richmond?

Bryce getting BCS offers is a double edged sword. Yes, it would look great if he picked us over a bunch of BCS schools, but you never know which BCS offer might decide to put the full court press on him. Best case scenario is that Bryce commits in the Fall of this year like our 2 2017 recruits did last year. The longer it plays it out, the less I like our odds.

I hope he commits here today ... best case. that wouldn't stop some others from offering though. nothing's binding until you sign. but it would be awesome to see him so bought in like Godwin is.

Agree, 97. He is likely to have many more P5 offers; he just completed his sophomore year of high school and has ACC and Big 10 offers. Bryce is a very good player and, if he is like his brother, an outstanding student. OSC
