The rest of the world is seeing what we already knew. Lauletta can play some ball!
A well deserved MVP.
The final score made the game look like a blowout, but the South was only up 18-16 when KL threw his 1st TD pass. After his 3 TD passes and a defensive TD the South won 45-16, and KL finished with a 287.8 passer rating.
My prediction, Kyle gets drafted in the first 50 (2nd round). Anybody know who the guy was that gave him the mvp trophy? Said he was a Spider....
Todd McShayDon't know who that was but glad he touted his alma mater in the trophy presentation. Great job by Kyle, his disappearing act on that one play where he got sacked and got out of trouble twice was pretty amazing.
The game was great for him but the week of practice is what all the scouts were there for, the game is sort of non-consequential. I know he met with scouts from the Buccaneers, Vikings, Dolphins and 49ers. Anyone have any other teams for sure that sat down with him?
No, it was the guy who was the brand manager for Reese's. It was pretty cool that he was excited to present the trophy to a "Kyle Lauletta, from MY alma mater, the University of Richmond".Todd McShay
It was the guy to Kyle's right.
Diversity at its finest. That's funny, I don't recall seeing a big Reeses Cup-headed person around campus.
