Agree with your statement, however, that is a coaching failure. The fact that it happens over and over again year after year = systemic issue. The system is Mooney.

Mooney is running an inadequate system (big picture). In addition, his personal ability is low. Mooney (and by extension his teams) tighten up under pressure and fold. When you add low skill to a failing system you produce a poor product.

The creator, owner, and enforcer of the system is Mooney.
