Many Spider faithful knew Tom Garrett, Sr. or know Tom Garrett, Jr., both loyal Spiders. You may also know that Sr. recently passed away.

The family is planning a Memorial for Tom Sr. and would like to invite all loyal Spider fans to join in. The information was provided to me as follows:

The location will be Spring Creek Golf Club, just off interstate 64 at the Zion's
Crossroad's exit. It is on May 7th, with a 11:30am shotgun start for golf, and a 4:30pm kick off to the reception, silent auction, and dinner. All funds raised will benefit Young Life Louisa. Coach Mike London from the University of Virginia will be there in the morning, Coach Danny Rocco from the University of Richmond will be there mid-day, and men's basketball coach from the University of Richmond, Chris Mooney will be there in the evening.

Entry into the tournament is $200 per player, and includes golf, cart, breakfast, lunch, a reception, dinner and beverages for the day.
Reception and dinner reservations are $40 per person. We have a silent auction planned that promises to be like no other! So
far we have received gift cards, signed sports memoribilia from PGA golf professionals, NFL professionals, and are hopeful that a special item
from NBA sensation Jeremy Lin will arrive soon. We also have signed cd's from top musician's including Scotty McCreery, Luke Bryant, Lady
Antebellum, Derks Bently, Josh Turner, and more. We have driveway grating up for auction, fresh beef to stock the freezer, skeet shooting instruction from a NRA certified instructor, lawn care services, jewelry, portrait sittings, kayak use on Lake Anna, and much more!
