We need to beat nova first but if we do I could see us pulling off the upset of jmu. They have won 20 games in a row, they've got to lose at some point. However I could also see us getting complete embarrassed with them putting up 70 or 80 on us because you know they will try to.

Damn game sold out. Was surprised how many tickets were left a few weeks ago and figured I could hold out on our performance before I bought tickets.

JMUers hate UR due to it being small, private, expensive and about 85% of the UR student body is non Virginian.
They hate the fact that a tiny private school with a small but very handsome stadium and top tier students who drive BMWs and pay more in tuiton than most of them will earn in a lifetime has the ability to kick their ass on a regular basis. Oh, and their colors are purple and yellow and they were once Duchesses.
They also are still butt hurt in not being able to bring their 18000 purple clad Dillweed fans and their crummy marching band to take over the old UR Stadium claiming it as Bridgeforth East!
well i hope saturday , our guys give them one more reason to hate us, they have to lose sometime it might as well be our guys that pop that bubble , let there be purple tears and spider cheers in the unhappy valley.
They also had coach withers and no vad lee. Now they have half our former staff. Either way this is a game we can win. Our sos has been brutal and JMU hasn’t been super tested although they have looked good against everyone. We are 3 plays from 8-1 and if we were everyone is calling this a tossup game.
Agreed. Pretty surprising. I dont think there could have been more than 12 or 13k in there at the end of the game.

Attendance was in the upper 24k-ish range. If only 12-13K were there at the end, that’s half of the stadium. Your stadium seats 8k. What am i missing?
So what! JMU has about 22,000 students. Richmond has around 3,000 students.
JMU has thousands more alumni than Richmond.
The Dillweeds (JMU) will always have more fans.

The fact that it was a huge waste of money to expand the stadium to 30k or whatever it is when only 12 or 13k actually show up/stay for the game. jmu fans suck, they always have. They're soft and really don't know anything or get into the actual game, they just care about the other side stuff that comes with the game.
Yeah our fans suck. Thats why we downsized our stadium after our biggest rival brought more fans to our own stadium than we did. Or... wait.
You appear to be a typical JMU fan. You show up on our board AFTER the game to run your mouth. You won. Congrats. Your colors are still purple and yellow.
I was here before. Go find some of my pregame comments and I think you'll realize Ive been quite complimentary of UR. You're my favorite team to beat, but its always better to beat you when you're good. We make each other better for sure.

The thing is, the 12 or 13k thing wasn't me talking trash. Its just a fact. They were undefeated and playing their rivals and it was too cold for half of their fans.
The Dukes are still going to playoffs and have won a lot of games consecutively. Congrats. Just the fans didn't stay. May of them never even arrived, actually.
