Louisville Post Season Ban

absolutely -- as long as it is appropriate content

The two grad transfers got screwed by Pitino. He is one of the biggest assholes in basketball

Pitno almost as bad as Calipari, not quite there even with a couple of more scandals I don't think he can catch Calipari.

Calipari is the bottom of the barrel to me. Pitino working his way down there to keep up with KY.

More respectable than syracuses pathetic mid season self imposed ban after they had pretty much lost enough games to not be a candidate. So yay for someone with some balls.

Does it tell you something? Both coaches last names end in a vowel.

Heard that the penalty by the NCAA may be much more severe. OSC

"“It is important to note what is not being alleged. The NOA does not contain an allegation that Coach Pitino had knowledge of what took place in the dormitory. The NCAA does not allege a ‘lack of institutional control’ at Louisville, a very severe allegation. The NCAA does not allege that there was a ‘failure to monitor’ against the institution, also a severe allegation. The NCAA does not allege that Coach Pitino failed to ‘promote an atmosphere of compliance’, a serious allegation. The NOA does contain a narrower allegation – which we will dispute – that Coach Pitino failed to demonstrate that he monitored Mr. McGee."

Pitino is a lot of less-than-desirable things, but from what I know, it appears as though the NCAA got this right.
