Kyle Lauletta, Sr., QB, Richmond (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East)

Lauletta completed 26-of-29 passes (89.7%) for 321 yards and a school-record six touchdowns as Richmond rolled past Howard, 68-21. The senior quarterback threw five TD’s in the first half and another on the opening drive of the second half before leaving the game. He’s one of only five QB’s in FCS or FBS over the last six years to complete over 88% of his passes with six TD’s and no interceptions in a game.

If you flip it forward it should count toward passing stats, like the shuttle pass.

I'm sure ESPN looked at it live and marked it a lateral. We looked at the film and decided it was forward a yard or two.

"Pop pass jet sweep" - a forward pass but can be mistaken for a handoff. Basically it avoids any danger of a bad exchange between the WR and QB because if the WR drops the quick pop pass, its incomplete as opposed to a fumble.
