Wow...tragic situation. Clearly a lot more to this story that's yet to come out.
Read the article this morning, not knowing it was UR's Kass Weaver. The situation is tragic for his wife and quite obviously the child, not for Kass though, who appears to be the perpreatrator of gross domestic violence and I'm sure it will be determined if he was responsible for a 3 years death and then putting him in a freezer for two years. Disgusting.
Yeah, was wondering about Kweaver as well. He might want to consider a new handle.Awful news.
I hope our poster KWeaver is ok, presumably just a tribute name if that.
It would also be perfectly in line with how UR handles the media.Didn't see anything wrong with the original story. It would be pretty stupid if UR complained about it. Can't change the fact that he played for us, but it was also 27 years ago, so it's not like UR is somehow guilty by association here.
Of course this school, which has never embarrassed itself with PR gaffes in the past, would never do something as stupid as that....It would be pretty stupid if UR complained about it.
Was this also him? Has he been having trouble for 20 years?

Maybe there was a misspelling.Yeah, I don’t know…doesn’t make much sense for the story to disappear, so I was just trying to come up with an explanation. Would be surprising for the RTD to cave to a UR complaint, so maybe that’s not it, but then I really have no idea why they pulled it.
Does that mean you missed Tarrant's final year?I honestly don’t remember this guy. He must have played in the mid nineties when I took my hiatus from UR sports.
I looked back and I was not around for 92-93, 93-94, and 94-95 seasons. Got married and was out of town for awhile. Still paid for the dang tickets, haha! I did miss Coach Tarrant’s last year I believe.Does that mean you missed Tarrant's final year?
And never knew any of the players Weaver played with - Kenny Woods, Chris Fleming, Michael Hodges, Eugene Burroughs, or Gerald Jarmon?
He and Hodges are who got Dooley that 14-14 record Dooley's first year.
I always thought Weaver and Hodges came in together as a package deal, but that was Ty Evans and Weaver replaced him.
Never knew anything about his personality or that he stopped speaking with his parents for a decade.
All I knew was that just like John Davis on defense, he had an incredible first lateral step on offense to help with his outside shot.
Never knew there was a monster among us...
September 1992 to March 1995 was quite a honeymoon...I looked back and I was not around for 92-93, 93-94, and 94-95 seasons. Got married and was out of town for awhile. Still paid for the dang tickets, haha! I did miss Coach Tarrant’s last year I believe.
Lol, yes it was.September 1992 to March 1995 was quite a honeymoon...
