Doug Gottlieb mentioned on CBS that Fordham wants to go to Patriot League. Interesting remark while talking about Neubauer signing.

A little surprised to see him take this gig, but I am sure the money doubled what he was getting. Wish him all the best as he tries to revitalize things there, and I hope he can keep Paschall in place.

If they want to go to the Patriot League, hopefully the A-10 has a U-Haul ready to roll to help them pack up. Fordham is clearly in over their head with being an A-10 member.

They would be last place in the Patriot league as well.

Only way you take that job is for the money and if you clearly outline the expectations from the start. For me - I think you get a raise and extension and maybe even a parade on campus if you get them to be a .500 team by year 3. The have had trouble winning 10 games a year for the past 5 years. That would be a quite an achievement, even in the Patriot League.

Jeff will do a good job. I think he will recruit well in the city.

Fordham is really a no win job unless someone spectacular goes there, and no one spectacular wants to go there. NYC talent pretty much gets recruited nationwide, and it's easy for recruiters to get to NYC and get them out of there. What he should do is recruit more internationally, much like they do at GW. GW can't compete with GTOWN or Maryland, so they try something different and it's not that bad. He should do a similar approach.
