Then how do you make binding offers to seventh graders?yeah, hoops coaches can't initiate any contact with players until 6/15 of their sophomore year. until then all they can do is send an invite to their prospect camp. they can't even show you around campus if you walk in the door. they don't mess around with that either. I assume it's the same for other sports.

Best thing Notre Dame ever did in football was to allow the transfer of QB Buster O'Brien to us who went on to lead us along with Walker Gillette and the rest of the team to our one bowl victory in 1968 over Ohio University............
