I can't believe it either, because he wasn't. He was first-team all-A10 and DPOY.

Congrats Gilyard. It is very impressive that this is the 2nd national ranking (last year defensive player of the year) he is being considered for. At 5 8, he will finish his U of R career (hopeful in 2022) as one the the best to ever wear a Spider Uniform.
